Anong translation ng Bible ang gustung-gusto mo at bakit? (No hate comments lang, flex mo lang Bible mo)

Napapaisip lang ako .. Iba-iba kasing salin ng Bibliya ang ginagamit natin kapag nag-aaral tayo ng Salita ng Diyos ..

Para sa akin, preferred kong gamitin ang New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures kahit maraming bumabatikos sa salin na yan ng Bible ..

Bukod sa NWT Bible, gumagamit din ako ng Strong's Concordance Bible para makita/malaman ko yung original Hebrew/Greek words na ginamit sa isang espesipikong salita sa Bible ..

At marami pang ibang salin ng Bible like Ang Dating Biblia 1905, Magandang Balita Biblia, King James Version, The Divine Name King James Bible, then, yung maliit na Gideons International New Testament, yang mga yan ang ginagamit ko sa pag-aaral ko ng Bible para mapagkumpa-kumpara ko bawat isa para malaman ko din kung tumpak ba ang salin ng Bible na ginagamit ko, at marami pang iba ..

Mahirap din kasi na isang Bible lang ang gamit, iisipin ng iba, bias ka sa Bible na gamit mo .. Hindi tulad kapag may ibang salin ng Bible ka na gamit .. Kahit papaano, may ibang salin ng Bible kang magagamit kapag binabatikos ang salin na gamit mo, tama?

Anyways, kayo ba? Anong salin ng Bible ang gamit mo at bakit 'yan ang napili mo?

Eto din gamit namen sa theology subject namen, sa High School to College, dito sa province (Schooled sa catholic school, kinder to college)
Nabasa ko din yung sa Gideon po as other reference, and other version TS hinde ko pa nabasa, but to me, pag simplicity po, na kay KJV. (Opinion ko lang po TS, subject to constructive criticism )
Pero mahalaga, iisa lang din layunin natin, kahit iba iba man tayo nababasang version, nandun pa rin yung so called "Faith."

New King James, NIV at New Living transalation. Bukod dun mas ok if may bible concordance ata tawag dun yung rektang transalation or paliwanag sa mga passage. Kasi may culture noon sa Israel and mga kalapit na bansa na di tayo familiar kaya meron mga points na di tayo nakikita unlike if titignan mo sa mga mata ng mga taong nabubuhay ng time na yun. Like yung mount Hermon, parang simple lang siya if nabasa mo sa passage pero if nag go deeper ka sa mga chismis2 nung time nila medyo may mga details ka na makikita.

So, when he says, “Upon this rock, I will build my church,” that phrase is filled with meaning, referring to both to Peter’s confession and Mount Hermon. As Heiser says, “Gates are defensive structures, not offensive weapons. The Kingdom of God is the aggressor. Jesus begins at ground zero in the cosmic geography of both testaments to announce the great reversal. It is the gates of hell that are under assault—and they will not hold up against the Church. Familiar ako kay Michael Heiser, madami po siya sa YøùTùbé, Baptist po ata siya pero controversial mga pananaw niya which is I think good din naman. Pero di lahat sang ayon ako. Try niyo po makinig podcast niya madami siyang magagandang points. Remnant radio din po sa YøùTùbé madami sila magagandang dinidiscuss na theology pero mga debate nila lahat magagalang and matatalino na may backup talaga yung points nila.

Yung idea nya po kasi mas ok, pano mo makikita yung pagkakasabi ng mga apostles/phrophet/Jesus sa mata ng mga nakikinig ng time na yun. Parang binabalik nya yung supernatural feel sa bible na nagiging interesting. Yung mga nephalim, sons of god, giants etc magegets mo pano pagkakaintindi ng mga tao d2 kapag ayun topic, unlike sa westernized na idea ng bible theology na dinisregard o halos wala sinasabi sa mga giants and sons of god or tinuturing na mga tao lang din yun na pinaganda lang tawag.

Sakin ang ginagamit ko sa ngayon is NKJV pero pag may pera na gusto ko yong NET Bible although may kamahalan. I will explain a little bit. Sa pagpili ng bibliya may tatlong uri ito. May Literal translation, may dynamic translation at mayroon ding loose translation. Now ano ang mga examples ng literal translation, ito ay ang ESV, NASB, KJV, NET, at iba pa. Sa dynamic naman isa lang ang alam ko yong NIV. Sa loosed translation marami jan isa na ang NLT, Good news at iba pa.
Now bakit ang NKJV gamit ko? Simpling tanong simpling sagot iyon ay bible ko na libre. What I meant to say is hindi ko siya binili. At ito na yong ginagamit ko mula bata pa hanggang sa ngayon. At may signature din sa isa sa mga magaling na scholar na ang pangalan ay si George R. Knight (known for "sin is love").
Sa academe kahit anong translation ang gagamitin mo walang problema kasi ang gagamitin nyo sa klase ay hindi translation kunde manuscript. Iba ang manuscript at translation. Btw I'm a theologian by profession.
Bakit ko pipiliin si NET kung sakali bibili ako (wala pa pera kaya di pa makabili medyo mahal eh 7k hindi kasama ang shipping fee). Isa sa mga reason is ang word study. Alam nyo maganda mag-aaral ng bible na may concordance, commentary, at syntax. Lahat na yan ay meron si NET kaya maganda talaga siya pang study kasi maraming scholars ang nag contribute. Ganito kasi yan pag nag sermon ka, sabi ng guru ko wag kang mag sermon if half baked lang. What I meant to say is yong hindi mo talaga napagstudyhan ng maigi. Sa sermon making kasi meron tayong tinatawag na expository sermon. Medyo hindi siya madali gagawin kasi need mo mag word study or shall we say hermeneutics.
