One of the most frequently asked questions, especially by the skeptics, concerns the authenticity and completeness of the Bible as a book that contains the words of God. Others even ask if the things written there are the final words of God.
I believe that the Bible is complete. The Bible is a compilation of books which God had given to His people. And when He gave it to them, He set specific prohibitions in the use of this book – nothing must be added to it and nothing must be taken away from it. This was explicitly stated in the book of REVELATION 22:18-19 (KJV) which says,
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Those verses clearly prove that the Bible is complete. Otherwise, God would no longer prohibit us from adding and taking away anything from it. When nothing more needs to be added, or to be deducted, from something, it means it is already complete. If you are going to add or take away anything from that something, it will lose it completeness. So, by logic, we believe that the Bible is a complete book since God commanded us not to add or deduct anything from it anymore, and disobeying His commandment would merit a commensurate punishment.
God had spoken to humanity since the time of the creation of man – from the time of Adam and Eve, to Cain, to Seth, to Abraham, to Noah, to the tribes of Israel, and so on. God’s communication to humanity had been constant. HEBREWS 1;1-2 (KJV) says,
1 God who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Let me emphasize what Saint Paul said, “Hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son”. We are actually living in the last days in the biblical calendar. Using the past perfect tense of the verb speak, (hath spoken), it implies a completed action. In other words, everything that must be revealed had been revealed by His Son; and all the things that need to be said had been spoken by God thru His Son also. Actually, even the future, up to the end, had already been revealed in the Bible.
REVELATION 1:1 says,
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
So, when the book of Revelation was given, the time left was short. Although it might take 2,000 years or more, for God that is just short.
The things that are contained in the book of Revelation are the things which must shortly come to pass. God gave the revelation to John thru His angels.

After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show these things which must be hereafter.

This means that as early as that period, the things that must shortly come to pass and the things that must be hereafter, had already been revealed to John. And they were all recorded in the Bible. REVELATION 1:19 says,
Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Therefore, the Bible contains the complete revelations and prophecies that cover until the end.
We must bear in mind that one of the attributes of God is that He is capable of declaring the end from the beginning of all things that exist. That is written in ISAIAH 46:9-10,
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
That is the kind of God that caused the writing of the Scriptures; He could declare the end from the beginning. Undoubtedly, the Bible is complete in all senses; it is final. The Bible is the final authority when it comes to the salvation of humanity. No other book must be given the same value and importance; and no other book can ever compare with the Bible.
There is definitely no truth to the claim of the Mormon church that the book of Mormon is more superior than the Bible. The so-called “Apostle” Bruce McConkie of the Mormon church said,
Almost all of the doctrines of the gospel are taught in the Book of Mormon with much greater clarity and perfection than those same doctrines are revealed in the Bible. Anyone who will place in parallel columns, the teachings of these two great books on such subjects as the atonement, plan of salvation, gathering of Israel, baptism, gifts of the spirit, miracles, revelation, faith, charity (or any of a hundred other books) will find conclusive proof of the superiority of the book of Mormon teachings.
That is stupidity! To place the book of Mormon, which is full of lies and inventions of Joseph Smith, in parallel with the Bible in significance and value is an act of blasphemy. The apostle of the Mormon church who made such claim is a false apostle. He is just like the one who sent him, satan.
In II CORINTHIANS 11:13-15 it says,
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves in to the Apostles of Christ,
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

As early as the 19th century, they said that there will be a New Jerusalem that will be built in the western boundaries of Missouri, USA, and that temple will be dedicated by the hands of Joseph Smith. Unfortunately, Joseph Smith died by a gunshot wound caused by a mob in prison. Joseph Smith was imprisoned because of the criminal charges filed against him by the US government. The history of the United States will prove that there was no New Jerusalem built in the western boundaries of the state of Missouri. And there was no temple either that was dedicated by the hands of Joseph Smith because he met an unexpected death while he was in prison.
At first glance, this revelation seems to be a revelation, but this is not a revelation coming from God. Let us not forget, all the revelations of God that must be known by man had already been recorded by John in the book of Revelation.
Let me reiterate, no revelations coming from God will ever come anymore after the revelation that had been given to John thru our Lord Jesus Christ. Those revelations are complete, and so are the teachings of Christ in the Bible, they are also complete. MATTHEW 28:20 says,
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Christ commanded the Apostles to teach all nations all the teachings He taught them during His three years of preaching on earth. Therefore, all the teachings of Jesus Christ are final because they are meant to be taught until the end of this world.
