Jurassic Mars: Fossilised T-rex head 'found on Red Planet' sparks alien hunter frenzy
CLAIMS that a fossilised Tyranasaurus Rex-type dinosaur may have been found in photographs of Mars have boosted UFO hunters looking for proof the Red Planet was once inhabited.

NASA images taken by the Curiosity River droid, which is exploring the Martian surface, have appeared on UFO and alien websites after one avid hunter claimed to spot the skull of a dinosaur.
Scott C Waring, who edits the UFO Sights Daily blogsite, was the first to post details of the "discovery" he made.
He wrote: "I found a skull of a dinosaur-like creature. It really looks like the fossil of an actual life form from long ago.

"The skull looks similar to dinosaur fossils found here on Earth."
Mr Waring said NASA has made it difficult to spot the "head" as the images had been uploaded by the US space agency in very small sizes.
He added: "NASA made these photos really small - only 45kb, so I enlarged them to 535kb and kept its quality."
Three of the images, taken by Curiosity in February, have been uploaded with difference views of the "head".
Denis Ball, who posted about the find on UFO Sightings Daily, was bolstered by it and claimed to spot a further two dinosaur heads in the images.
He added: "Just to the right and up a bit from this there appears to be an etching on the rock of a human type in black with a spear in their hand."
There are several alien believers who are convinced Mars once held human-like beings and went through a similar history to Earth with dinosaurs followed by ancient civilisations.

he claim, which often stems from so called anomalies being found in NASA images, continues that all life was wiped out by an alien nuclear war, but the evidence is hidden among rocks in NASA pictures.
Of course, so far, Curiosity has no no such evidence by being there, and the most startling thing it found is that there were once huge oceans on Mars and it may have held very early basic life.
Scientists say all the discoveries, such as this so-called fossil are the result of pareidolia, when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects, faces or shapes in anything from rock patters to tree bark and clouds.
