Should Bennett be bought out by Minnesota's front office, the power forward would become an unrestricted free agent after he clear waivers.

This past season, the former UNLV Runnin' Rebels standout made 57 appearances for the Timberwolves, including three starts, and averaged 5.2 points to go along with 3.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game.
