It is very unfortunate that, due to the wrong teachings of many religions, lots of people today are confused about some religious beliefs – to the point that they have become ignorant of pertinent biblical facts.

For instance, many people, especially believers, are not aware that, apart from Jesus, Mary had other children whom she also gave birth to, and that Jesus had other siblings by Mary.

Before Jesus was born, there was a prophecy about him. This prophecy is written in Psalms 69:8 which says,

“I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.”

That was a prophecy about Christ, implying that his mother had other children by Joseph. To prove that, Mark 6:3 says,

“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters with us? And they were offended at him.”

When the Lord Jesus was already preaching, the Jews asked, “Is not this the carpenter?” He was a carpenter, a profession which he inherited from Joseph. His foster father, Joseph, was a carpenter. The verse, likewise, made reference to His other siblings – the children of Mary and Joseph. And this was given confirmation by the Apostle Paul in Galatians 1:19, which says,

“But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.”

Therefore, Christ had other siblings, but only maternal siblings because He was not a biological son of Joseph. Before Joseph and Mary got married, Mary was already with a child. Matthew 1:18-20 states,

“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph thou son of David, fear not to take thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”

The angel Gabriel had told Mary, “You will conceive and bear a son.” Mary conceived although she didn’t have any s3xual relations with Joseph yet. It is clear that Joseph was only the foster father of Christ; he was His adoptive father. However, what the people knew then was that He was the son of Joseph but, that is not true. Only Mary was His biological parent; Mary conceived Him through the work of the Holy Spirit.

What happened next? Matthew 1:25 says,

“And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn so: and he called his name JESUS.”

Joseph “did not know” Mary until she had brought forth her firstborn son. Meaning, Joseph did not have any sexual relations with Mary until Christ, the firstborn, was born. He was called the firstborn, or prototokos in Greek, because He had other siblings born of Mary.

The teaching that Mary remained a forever v!rgin is another fabrication. It is not biblical. How can she be a forever v!rgin after giving birth? A v!rgin is a woman whose hymen is intact. Medically speaking, a woman whose hymen is no longer intact is not a v!rgin anymore. She no longer has the token of v!rginity. Mary had given birth, and she couldn’t have given birth without breaking her hymen.

During the s3xual intercourse of a man and a woman, the hymen breaks. That is why a woman bleeds when having s3x for the first time. That is the token of v!rginity. It is attested by medical science and it is also written in the Bible. Deuteronomy 22:13-14 says,

“If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, and lay shameful things to her charge, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came nigh to her, I found not in her the tokens of v!rginity:”

A man can tell if the woman he had s3x with has a token of v!rginity. Bleeding occurs because the hymen of a v!rgin, which is intact, gets broken. That is the token of v!rginity. Although Mary had no s3xual relations yet, she had lost her v!rginity when her hymen got broken as she gave birth to Jesus. But after the birth of Jesus, Mary and Joseph had s3xual relations, and she gave birth to other children.

So, to say that Mary remained a v!rgin forever is not only medically wrong but also biblically wrong.

No , it is not. A man can tell if the woman he had s3x with has a token of vlrginity?

Some girls ay kapag naging puberty , nagiging elastic- at according sa nabasa ko na meron itinatawag na elastic hymen so it can be stretched kapag 1st sexual interaction. Maraming iba pa.

Dagdag , the reason why women feel pain (sabi ng nabasa ko) ay masyado mataas ang anxiety nito kapag 1st sexual interaction to a man.

Meron ibang babae na nagpapa surgical through getting rid of hymen upang maging healthy sila as a whole dahil ika nga , meron ibang babae na kapag blockage ang hymen ay risk sa kanya and it is not good for her health so ang ibang babae ay pinapatanggal nila.

Ang problema ng society dahil sa cultural conditioning sa bawat tao na (baligtad ang ginagawa) ay nagpapa hymenoplasty or nagpapalagay ng hymen just to please a man especially women who grew up in a traditional , conservative and religious background or malakas ang influence ng religion.

C'mon. Anong nagyayari sa mundo? Hahaha 😅 Hindi ko rin ma blame sa ilang tao na naniniwala sa ganyan dahil na condition na kase sa bawat utak ng tao at pride kase ng lalake iyan so as not to feel extremely insecure.

We lived in a patriarchal culture where masculine moral authority must be followed and no wonder why we lived in male social norms. Ika nga , its a mans' world. Hahaha 😅 Malakas kase ang social influence ng men. Ika nga , ang meron social power ay men.

To be honest , a man can not really tell if a woman is a vlrgin or not pero if you want to be secured at ganoon din sa ibang lalake na gusto ma feel secured , go , maniwala sila diyan sa bible.

Sabi nga , subjective is reality.

"A man can tell if the woman he had s3x with has a token of v!rginity."

Atheist naman pala itong nagkakalat na "God has a wife"

"Atheist Dr Francesca Stavrakopoulou says that the Almighty, known as Yahweh, had a partner called Asherah who was worshipped."

Did God have a wife? Asherah Worship in Israel

Introduction

Queen of Heaven?

Did the Israelites worship the "Queen of Heaven"? The answer is "yes," since the Bible clearly states that it was so. Does this make the "Queen of Heaven" God's wife?

The recent claim that God had a wife was made by a Francesca Stavrakopoulou, admitted atheist at the Department of Theology and Religion at the University of Exeter. You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Although the claim seems ridiculous on the surface, there is actually a fair amount of evidence that groups of ancient peoples of the Middle East worshipped different gods and goddesses, one of whom was named "Asherah." However, contrary to the claims of many scholars, the Bible does not try to cover up these facts, but brings them to light as the idol worship they were. This page examines this evidence and the ways it has been interpreted.

Asherah in archeology

Fueling the claim that God had a wife was an inscription found at Kuntillet Ajrud, an 8th centuries B.C. site in the northeast Sinai peninsula, that said, "Yahweh of Samaria and his Asherah" and "Yahweh of Teman and his Asherah." Yahweh is the Hebrew word for God. A similar inscription has been found at a tomb from the same time period at Khirbat El-Qôm. Other religious artifacts, such as horned altars, small altars, ashes, animal bones, scepter heads and terra cotta female figurines, have been found scattered about the Middle East, primarily in isolated homes of individuals rather than sites of official worship (e.g., Jerusalem). William G. Dever, who did much of the research on these artifacts, believed they represented a cult of Asherah,You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Asherah in the Bible

Contrary to the claims of scholars, the Bible does not attempt to cover up the existence of Asherah or that she/it was worshipped in Israel. In fact, Asherah is mentioned in the Bible books of Exodus,You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. Most often in the Bible, Asherah was associated with the god Baal. You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. The Bible also describes a "queen of heaven,"You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. However, in one of Jeremiah's accounts, it is God Himself who told Jeremiah that He was grieved by the idol worship of the "queen of heaven."You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. According to biblical history, about half of the kings of Israel worshipped other gods and built altars and Asherah to them. The Bible even indicates that some of the Asherah were made in Samaria,You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. which is where archeologists have found them. So, the fact that archeologists have found Asherah in Samaria is not surprising. It would be more surprising if they didn't find them! Was the Bible trying to keep this worship of other gods and goddesses secret? No!

God has a wife!

The Bible actually says outright that God has a wife. Yes, I admit it! However, that "wife" is not Asherah or any other cultic goddess. The wife is none other than God's people:

  • For your Maker is your husband-- the LORD Almighty is his name-- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth. (Isaiah 54:5)
  • As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sons marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. (Isaiah 62:5)
  • "Return, faithless people," declares the LORD, "for I am your husband. I will choose you--one from a town and two from a clan--and bring you to Zion. (Jeremiah 3:14)

Yes, the atheists are at it again, just in time to promote their upcoming Bible bashing series, "Bible's Buried Secrets," on the BBC. It is the same tired allegations - the Israelites were really polytheists and Yahweh, the God of the Bible was just one of many players. Accordingly, the Bible tried to cover up the fact that all the Israelites were polytheists. The problem with the claim is that the Bible readily admits that the kings would go astray and worship other gods. The fact that archeology confirms such examples of idol worship in Israel is no surprise. It would be surprising if such evidence were not found. And just to set the record straight, the Bible does say that God has a wife - consisting of none other than His people.
