Thomas Obicini of Novara (Italian: Tomasso Obicini da Novara; 1585 – 7 November 1632) was an Italian Franciscan friar, originally from Novara. As an early orientalist, Arabist and linguist, he translated Arabic texts into Latin and took possession of the Grotto of Nazareth for the Franciscan order in 1620.
