Tingen ko baka yun ang dahilan eh.. ndi ko kasi alam kung naka install yung homebrew ng tama.

Anything that you can find cheap iMac don't need apple certified Hard drives so kahit na anong murang HDD or SSD ilagay mo it should work

Still contemplating whether i should go to technicians po kase I asked their rates, almost all 10k+ ang asking price, kaya po ba i self repair lang if ever meron sa YøùTùbé or is it risky?

A1278 ang model sir, kung wala ka na kailangan sa drive pwede mo na iwipe and reinstall MacOS

turn on the unit Press and hold CMD + R bago magchime hold mo lang hangga sa umabot ka sa recovery from then wiped the drive then reinstall MacOS just follow the instruction importatnte lang you have internet kasi idodownload ng device ung OS. good luck

Firmware locked is equivalent to BIOS locked sa PC but for Apple may ibang procedure para iunlock yan you need a hardware to reset the Firmware chip sa board
