Nah....Fiber Optic has always been and will always be the best type of connection, unless maka-invent sila ng another type ng wired connection.

Why? Latency pa lang, talong-talo na Starlink.
Hindi pang realtime services (voice, gaming, etc) si Starlink. Well, at least for now, since wala pang ground station si Starlink dito sa PH. (No info yet kung magkakaroon ng ground station si Starlink dito sa PH.)
Wired is still the best connection. Wireless pa rin ang sattelite-type of internet connection, meaning, sa frequency at radio waves pa rin naka-depende ang transmission niyan so interference pa rin, like any other wireless connection, ang kalaban mo.

That's reality bro. Look at the reviews. Wala pa ring tatalo sa FoC. Try gaming with Starlink or conduct a video conferencing. Mapapamura ka.
I rest my case if money and not technicality ang pupuntiryahin mo. I'm a network engineer myself and I can say pang backup ISP lang ang Starlink, at least for now dahil wala pang ground station si Starlink dito sa PH. Once magkaroon ng ground station si Starlink dito, I think mag-iimprove naman latency but comparing it with FoC-based connection na naka-direct link to all the data centers worldwide via FoC submarine cables, talo pa rin si Starlink or any satellite-based internet connection for that matter.
Also, light-based transmission (which FoC technology uses) is still faster than satellite-based connection na naka-depende pa rin sa radio waves.
Masyado lang ginagawang hype ng mga pinoy ang Starlink dahil bago sa mga pinoy ang satellite-based technology na internet connection. But if you look at the technicalitites, FoC is still the best type of connection.

Again, I rest my case if money and not technicality ang pupuntiryahin mo.

This is actually true.

Wired pa rin ang better internet connection, since walang interference, di gaya ng sa wireless na katulad ng Starlink. Sadyang mahal lang ang Starlink dahil sa laki ng coverage at dahil satellite-based siya.
