I am Shernie Ray L. Carreon, a 1st year college student of the academic year 2021-2022. I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Cebu - Banilad Campus. I am very determined to finish my studies but my parents are not capable of supporting me financially in going to college because they have their own, new family to support. I am a child of a separated family, both of my parents have made their own new family, leaving me behind in my relatives. Currently, I am living with my uncle here in Lorega San Miguel, Cebu City. I am in my uncle’s custody and he is providing me with my daily needs. Though he’s providing me with food and shelter, my uncle cannot also support me financially through college because he is only a minimum wage worker and he also has three children to provide.
I am a University Academic Scholar po which is 50% po sa tuition fee ko po yung babayaran ko + miscellaneous and laboratory fees. Sa first sem po 100% free tuition fee po ako(category 2). May 3 categories po yung Academic Scholarship
Category 1 - with GPA 1.0-1.2 (free tuition and miscellaneous and Laboratory)
Category 2 - with GPA 1.21-1.45 (free tuition fee only)
Category 3 - with GPA 1.46-2.0 (50% discount on tuition fee only)
Ngayong second sem po yung GPA ko is 1.48 (Category 3)sobrang liit nalang po talaga ng gap. Kaya po di ako nakapasok sa category 2 and sobrang na- disappoint po talaga ako sa sarili ko. Pero kahit ganto po gusto ko parin makapag aral tatapusin ko tong sem na at babawi po ako para po sa next sem ay makabalik ako sa Category 2. Ang problema po kasi is di po ako makapag-enroll sa next sem oag di settled yung balance ko po. Kaya po nanghihingi po ako ng tulong kahit konting barya po, pag naipon naman yan lalaki po
Ilalagay ko po dito yung online assessment ko po for 1st (0 Balance) and 2nd(41, 890 balance), for transparency po. Include ko din po yung grades ko for 1st semester. Yung Scholarship discount ko po for second semester is hindi pa po nakalagay sa portal sabinng scholarship head sa next week po raw malalagay yung discount. I hope meron pong makatulong
