Hello! It sounds like you are encountering issues with your NUC after attempting a BIOS update via USB. Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:

1. BIOS Recovery: If the BIOS update failed, you can try to recover the BIOS. Follow these steps:
- Download the latest BIOS version from the Intel website for your NUC model.
- Prepare a USB flash drive with the BIOS file on it (make sure it's formatted correctly).
- Disconnect all peripherals from the NUC.
- Insert the USB drive into the NUC.
- Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, then release it. The NUC should begin the BIOS recovery process.

2. BIOS Configuration: If you can access the BIOS when the SSD is removed, it suggests that there may be an issue with the SSD or its compatibility with the updated BIOS. In the BIOS settings, try resetting to default settings and ensuring that the SSD is recognized correctly.

3. SSD Compatibility: Check if the SSD is compatible with the NUC and the BIOS version you are trying to update to. Some SSDs may require firmware updates or specific settings to work properly with certain systems.

4. Hardware Check: If the issue persists, try testing the SSD in another system or using a different SSD in the NUC to see if the problem lies with the SSD itself.

5. Contact Support: If you are still unable to resolve the issue, it may be best to contact Intel support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance for your NUC model and help you troubleshoot the problem effectively.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue with your NUC. Let me know if you need further assistance!
