Recently, realme showcased a sneak preview of upcoming features named as realme Mini Capsule which might be working as an interaction notification module for realme smartphones and here is your chance to Experience it First
There has been a lot of speculation around this feature and we can call it as Android’s first “Dynamic Island” as well, Though the capabilities and features may vary from what we have already seen in another smartphone OS or in Apple’s high end smartphones like iPhone Pro / Max
In the last post, we have also reviewed the comments mentioning, How is it going to feel in real life scenarios or if it is just on charging as showcased or further more functionality as well?
Here is Animation when we plug in the charging cable. Isn’t it super cool?
Now, Let’s discuss on the different Scenarios available as of now
The Dynamic Notch expands around the center of the screen (around the center Camera module) whenever we plug in the charging cable, it feels like the center camera is expanding towards both directions and then moving further to the center, representing the accumulation of electricity and charging animation.
Along with this Animation, it also says, Charging or SuperVOOC depending on the charging technology or chargers used and on other side it shows current charging %, Overall all charging animation goes in and out in blue colour like the theme of the smartphone
Whenever your smartphone is fully charged , it gives an Unfold animation in Green color from Both sides are full of flashing, representing full power and along with the notification of fully charged, it gives information on remaining expected available time of usage for the smartphone. It gives good information along with some cool animation too.
Just like Fully Charged Notification, this Dynamic Notch / Mini Capsule also Expands when the remaining battery is less than or around 5% and this time with red color flashing on both sides, representing low battery reminder including additional display of the remaining available time
Overall, I think, it's the beginning of something very interesting, where most of the notifications can be available without capturing the full screen or popup window on the screen. There could be a number of scenarios that can be implemented using this, and I am looking forward to trying out some more features embedded into this feature.
This might not be limited to charging notification or functionality only, there may be more exciting & interesting functionality added in the near future.
