Another recommended series, Sousou no Frieren or Frieren at the Funeral is about an elven mage na member ng hero's party na tumalo sa demon king about a hundred years before the story begins. Being a slice of life na manga, mejo chill at lighthearted yung earlier chapters, mostly focusing sa pagpapakilala kay MC, sa kanyang apprentice at bagong party members. As the story progresses though, merong mga lumalabas na conflicts, especially with demons who are still trying to kill humans. Art-wise, okay yung manga. Di sya masyadong eye-catching in my opinion pero cutesy yung characters at hindi makalat yung pagkakagawa. Very clean yung illustrations especially the fight scenes. Story-wise, okay din sya. Hindi sya fast paced action, and mostly focusing lang talaga sa travels and adventures ng MC at ng kanyang party. Kung ayaw mo na nao-overwhelm sa mabilisang mga dialogues at actions, this manga is for you.
