Closed Skybroadband, has anyone tried it?

This is my first post here.

Has anyone tried SkyBroadband, specifically yung One Sky packages nila? They have a new offer of 16Mbps Unlimited data, with a free 4G Pocket WiFi (1GB per month) for PhP 1,799. It also includes some free channels.

Meron po bang may experience sa pag-gamit ng Sky Broadband? Location ko po ay BF Homes Paranaque. Sabi kasi nila sometimes the quality of the connection also depends partly on geography.

I currently have a PLDT Home DSL 8Mbps connection, but am not happy with their after-sales service. Just this week, it took 5 days for them to send me a replacement modem.

Opinions welcome. Salamat po.

We use Sky Broadband Plan with free cable TV channels. so far okay naman higit na mas okay sa na experience namin plan dati kay Globe. Manila area.

Meron sila Flyers na pwede ka pumili kung ano plan gusto mo. Meron kung ang like mo lang is for plain internet plan lang or with cable channels. installation I think 2,000 pesos with lock-in period of 24 months. Sa cable kung hindi kasama sa free cable channel yun channel na gusto mo mag add ka 100 pesos kung gusto mo ipa install yun channel na yun. and I think yun cable channels na kasama sa plan is parang yun silver plan nila dati. diba may silver, gold and platinum na cable plan sila dati.

Bago siguro yan kasi I remember ang plan lang na meron sila is 3,4,8,16 and 50 mbps. and yun 16 mbps nila ay walang kasamang cable plan.

Actually may naka-usap na akong Sky representative, Sabi ko meron na akong Titanium HD cable subscription, so instead of the one-time installation fee na Php 3,798, ay Php 999 na lang babayaran para sa modem, pero yung monthly na Php1799 ay yun pa rin although yung mga free channels nila ay included na sa current cable package ko.

Hesitant pa lang ako, kasi di ko alam paano ka-reliable ang connection nila. For example, baka laging disconnected or whole day outages sila. Although experience ko sa cable nila sa past 4 years, okay naman, mabilis na rin ang service, 48 hours max, like when they had to replace one of my HD digibox. Walang outages, kung meron man ay mga 2-3 hours lang at rarely pa.

Sa experience ko 2 times pa lang ata ako naka experience ng medyo matagal na disconnections, sabay sila lagi wala cable and wala din internet. but within 12 - 24 hours bumabalik naman. either kapag may maintenance siguro.

Default password niyan naka based sa device modem serial number. wala pattern.

Nope 2k lang plus 1 month advance payment kung anong plan kukunin mo. yun 2k locked-in 24 Months.

Ok nman ung sky kaso every fri at sat. sobrang bagal ng net :'( kahit ngaun nga hindi ako mkapanuod ng anime, currently using 16mbps nila.
