What is UHD BluRay?
- A UHD BluRay is all the files from the entire BluRay Disc (menus and extras included), so the quality is the same as the original copy. The Remux is the video and audio of the disc packed in a .mkv file without losing quality but without menus and extras, often just English audio. The file size of those goes from 40 to almost 100 GB. Files with less size are encoded version whit less bitrate and loss of quality...

What is WEB-DL?
- WEB-DL refers to a file losslessly ripped from a streaming services, such as Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu, Crunchyroll, Discovery GO, BBC iPlayer, etc., or downloaded via an online distribution website such as iTunes or kahit anong video downloader.

What is REMUX?
-
A remux is a rip of a Blu-ray or UHD DVD disc to another container format (MKV) or just stripping the disc of menus and bonus material while keeping the contents of its audio and video streams intact (also keeping the current codecs), guaranteeing the exact 1:1 movie quality as on original disc.

- If it doesn't have REMUX in the title, it means it's an encode, compressed to a smaller file size.

Let's have a comparison para magets niyo hahaha! Here:
-
A REMUX is the audio + video without all of the "extras", uncompressed (kind of like a .wav off a CD) if marunong kayo mag ripped from CD gets niyo na 'to. So, if the movie doesn't have "Remux" in the filename/release, it's an encoded file (similar to an MP3).

Tapos kapag may nakita kang x265 and x264 sa title, encoded movies yon! Which uses something similar to VBR (Variable bitrate) audio, where scenes with less actions are encoded at a lower bitrate and scenes with a lot of actions are encoded at a higher bitrate, to keep better quality with a smaller file size.

If you want to watch a high quality movies at home, there are plenty of variables to consider (TV’s HDR quality, size, etc.) Pero choice niyo padin yan.

Finally, if you want the BEST OF THE BEST QUALITY (Picture, Bitrate, etc..) Then go for 4k UHD BluRay or 4k/1080p BluRay REMUX!!!

I hope nakatulong sa inyo! Enjoy lang sa panonood ng movies!!!
