In this thread, we post every day about ρrémíùm and expensive typefaces, also known as type families or simply fonts, and give them away free of charge—yes, you read that right. We’re amazed at the number and quality of fonts, both free and otherwise, already available online today. Designers have an incredible selection of font choices to choose from. Why is it important to distinguish between the words typeface and font? Well, here is a snippet of an article from Adobe to show you the difference:

“A font is a complete set of characters—letters, numbers, and symbols—that share a common weight, width, and style, such as 10‑pt Adobe Garamond Bold. Typefaces (often called type families or font families) are collections of fonts that share an overall appearance, and are designed to be used together, such as Adobe Garamond.
typefacevsfontj.gif

“A type style is a variant version of an individual font in a font family. Typically, the Roman or Plain (the actual name varies from family to family) member of a font family is the base font, which may include type styles such as regular, bold, semibold, italic, and bold italic.” (“Using fonts in InCopy, 2021”)

It’s up to you to pick the right font that will speak in the language of the target audience, as the most effective font choices translate the purpose of the design. So whether you’re looking for a serif, script or sans-serif letterform, the Typeface of the Day (TOTD) thread has you covered! Feel free to share here your own copy of a ρrémíùm typeface you purchased.
Notice: Members may not be allowed to use these font files for their commercial projects or business documents, except for personal usage.

Authentic Photograph

Copied from the author: Introducing our new product, “Authentic Photograph Signature Font” – a stylish signature font with modern and natural handwriting impression. This is a font that really characterizes from the handwritten style. This font is crafted carefully in every its single scratch, created to look as close to a natural handwritten script so that it can create the perfect combination on each glyph. When we make this font, we really want to create a touch that is so free-flowing that it gives a natural impression on its use later. For example, if you want a letter ‘t’ that has a flow sketch with letter ‘t’, you can find it in ‘tt’ ligature glyph (just type in the text form below for trying).
