Crushes and how to identify them.
The 4 stages of having a hopeless crush:
1. Targeting
This is when you start noticing your crush. You are able to spot them in a crowd, sometimes you look at them out of curiosity.
2. Stalking
This is when you start looking for them in a crowd. You feel kind of bummed when you expect to see them somewhere but end up not finding them. You stalk them online, trying to find all you can about them (hobbies,interests,personality).
3. Imprinting
This is normally when you start telling people that you have a crush and you fantasize about them. A LOT. You brag about your crush. Telling everyone that he/she is talented, cute, funny and all. You protect your crush when people start to critisize them.
4. Closure
This can go in two directions; Either you tell your crush and get rejected or you lose your feelings for that person in a couple of weeks, maybe months. Since you never actually see the person up close, it is easy to be disappointed at them and get over them.
An exception: Sometimes you have crush on someone who you think isn't even attractive, but you are attracted to them and you don't know why. This happens when you actually know the person.
