Crypto Bitcoin question

I started researching bit coin just earlier. so far what i understand is bitcoin can be earn via mining.. also its value can't go higher but could go lower and there's a 21million bitcoin limit that can be mine.

is it possible to mine using your own computer??

what's the current bitcoin value

how hard is it to mine a bitcoin (what exactly do i need to do)

i watch a video it says just letting a certain program to run would do the trick.. is that true?? btw the video i watch was made years ago so i don't really sure about its credibility right now..

just give me a bit of explanation.
