Hello! It sounds like you are experiencing multiple issues with your HP Aspire V5 laptop. Let's try to troubleshoot each problem step by step:

1. Laptop not booting properly: If your laptop is not booting up properly and requires a reset to start, it could indicate a hardware or software issue. Try the following steps:
- Check Power Source: Make sure your laptop is connected to a power source and the battery is not depleted.
- Restart in Safe Mode: Try restarting your laptop in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if a third-party software is causing the problem.
- Run System Diagnostics: Most laptops have built-in diagnostics tools that can help identify hardware issues. You can access these tools during startup.
- Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, pending Windows updates can cause issues. Make sure your laptop is up to date.

2. Keyboard not working: If your laptop's built-in keyboard and an external USB keyboard are not working, it could be a driver issue. Try the following:
- Update Keyboard Drivers: Go to the Device Manager, uninstall the keyboard drivers, and then restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the drivers.
- Check Keyboard Settings: Make sure the keyboard settings are correct in the Control Panel.
- Test in Safe Mode: Boot into Safe Mode and check if the keyboard works. If it does, a third-party software might be causing the issue.

3. Security Update Installation Error: If you are facing issues installing a security update, it could be related to the other problems you are experiencing. Try the following:
- Check Available Disk Space: Ensure you have enough disk space for the update to install.
- Manually Download Update: Visit the Microsoft website and manually download the security update to see if you can install it that way.
- Run Windows Update Troubleshooter: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help identify and fix update-related issues.

If these steps do not resolve your issues, it might be best to seek professional help from a technician who can diagnose and fix the problems with your laptop. Good luck!
